BEIJING -- The Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) on Friday held a meeting to study and implement the guiding principles of the 19th CPC Central Committee's sixth plenary session.

Zhao Leji, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CCDI, presided over the meeting.

Zhao urged discipline inspection and supervisory organs to earnestly study and follow the spirit of the session, calling for high-quality anti-graft work in the new era.

The plenary session was held in Beijing from Nov. 8 to 11. The session adopted a landmark resolution on the major achievements and historical experience of the CPC's 100 years of endeavors.

The important remarks by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, at the session have pointed the way for the whole Party in this new, significant historical juncture, Zhao said.

Zhao said the resolution is a political proclamation of and a guide for the Chinese Communists in the new era.

Studying and implementing the spirit of the session should be taken as a major political mission, he said, urging relevant organs to implement the requirements put forward during the session.

Zhao also called for resolute efforts to carry on the battle against corruption and consolidate the achievements in the Party history learning campaign.
