In a world shaped by anxiety and uncertainty, British philosopher Angie Hobbs believes ancient wisdom still has much to offer. Hobbs argues that young people in both the East and the West can get a huge amount from not only learning about their own ancient philosophical traditions, but also about other ancient philosophical traditions. "We have to look to the philosophies that have helped humans in the past, and then adapt them, revise them, and update them for our own age," she said.
