The Beijing Olympics is cool. It has five mascots. I had
expected them to be giant panda, golden monkey and white dolphin, the sorts of
rare species that needs protection.
It’s
kind of creation for the organizing committee choosing these five babies, which
are fine to combine the characters of animals and human. They reflect some
Chinese flavors, but if they’ve obtained the concept of humanity, technology and
environmentalism, I don’t know if there’ll be other options.
