A Shanghai hospital has set up China's first basketball team for autistic children. Twelve children aged between 8 and 12 formed the first players on the team on World Autism Awareness Day on April 2. The Children's Hospital of Fudan University team will train every month in a bid to improve the sociability of autistic children, and help them integrate with society. The basketball team will call up eligible autistic children around the country to join in.
