Beijing, China's capital, holds first place as 2017's best tourist city on the Chinese mainland, according to a ranking list issued by jiemian.com and Toutiao.
Beijing is followed by Chongqing, the mountainous city in Southwest China, and Shanghai, the country's economic center, respectively.
The list is based on the evaluation of five factors: number of visitors, income made from tourism, relevant facilities, tourism's contribution to local economy, and traffic conditions.
