The trade volume of sweaters in Puyuan township, China's largest sweater distribution center, accounted for more than 60 percent of the total volume in the country. The town produced its first sweater in 1976 and since then it has witnessed booming development of sweater industry. There are 19 trading areas and about 10,000 stores in the town now.
