Ecovacs Robotics Co, China's largest in-home robotic products manufacturer by market share, announced on Wednesday its holiday sales season kick-off saw a big boost from online purchases on Black Friday and Double 11 — also known as Singles Day in China.

The twin holidays wrap up a year of global expansion milestones for the Suzhou-based company, which saw strong growth momentum in the world's top three robotics markets — China, the United States and Japan.

The company, whose main products include floor sweeping and window cleaning robots, reached a sales record of over 700 million yuan ($101.95 million) during the peak season beginning Nov 11.

David Qian, chief executive officer of Ecovacs, said the company saw stellar results on Double 11 and Black Friday in over 10 countries.

The company posted a net profit of 287.51 million yuan for January-September, up 33.85 percent year-on-year.
