After years of struggle and effort, China has finally fulfilled its generational mission to eliminate absolute poverty. China Daily's foreign reporters Jocelyn and Matt traveled across the country to discover the stories behind people's efforts to shake off poverty through the internet.
In the first episode, Matt visits Gansu province to witness how the combination of the internet and brick carvings, a traditional local handicraft, changed the lives of artisans.
