The National People's Congress, China's top legislature, held a news conference via video link on Thursday, one day ahead of the opening of its annual session.

Zhang Yesui, spokesperson of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress, briefed journalists on the session and answered questions.

-Session will be a major event on the political agenda as Communist Party marks 100 years
