Tibet has made remarkable economic achievements in the past seven decades since its peaceful liberation, Bkra-lo, a researcher at the China Tibetology Research Center, said at a recent forum in Beijing.

The central government cares about Tibet, mobilizing all forces and resources across the country to promote the region’s development, which has ensured that the region can develop in step with the rest of the country, he said.

The forum, held by the China Tibetology Research Center on May 19, was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet in 1951.
