China's national observatory on Tuesday morning issued an orange alert for rainstorms in many parts of the country and called for precautionary measures to be taken. From 2 pm Tuesday to 2 pm Wednesday, heavy rains and storms are expected in parts of Henan, Hebei, Shanxi, Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan.
