China's equipment manufacturing workers have the confidence and determination to strengthen the industry, said Lu Wenjun, a deputy to the National People's Congress.

"Having engaged in the equipment manufacturing industry for more than 30 years, my most profound experience is seeing generations of equipment workers who have grown up and overcome difficulties to dare to be the first and to create amazing miracles," said Lu, a member of the standing committee of China First Heavy Industries Co's Party committee.
