Omicron has a milder symptoms compared with the original virus, most of infected with Omicron will recover in a few days, so I think China's leader did a right thing by easing its COVID policy at the right time .What China has done during the past three years is simply admirable and it shows one of the basic thinking of the government: The people and their lives are the most important. The criticism from the West is unwarranted and politicized for their own agenda, not for the mere concerns of freedom or health of the Chinese people.
