Fujian coast guard conduct patrols in Taiwan Strait

The China Coast Guard has stated that Fujian coast guard vessels had carried out comprehensive law enforcement patrols in waters near the islands of Dongyin and Matsu in the Taiwan Strait.
In a statement released on Monday, the CCG said the patrols mainly covered exercises which included verification and identification, boarding inspections, control and expulsion, aimed at testing its rapid response and emergency handling capabilities.
Before the announcement, the CCG also stated that its four-vessel fleet had conducted law enforcement patrols around Taiwan island on Monday.
