A volunteer team from the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company and the Hangzhou Lin'an District Fire Rescue Brigade held an electricity safety and fire prevention awareness event at Hangzhou Lin'an Bus West Station on Jan 13.

"When you are at home, please never connect or use substandard electrical appliances by yourself. Please regularly check if the electrical lines and appliances are aging or damaged," said team member Wang Xiaoji.

He patiently explained electricity safety knowledge to waiting passengers while distributing electricity safety manuals. By his side, Bu Songjun added: "In case of a fire, dial 119 immediately."
