As a student and researcher in environmental economics, what immediately caught my attention about Xiamen was its easily accessible natural and man-made green spaces, along with its robust electric transportation system. The advanced features of the Hairun terminal boost Xiamen's economy and also significantly contribute to China's overall economic growth.

For those seeking lively spots, the city offers beautiful beaches, scenic mountain-to-sea trails, and the bustling Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. If you prefer peace and quiet, you can retreat to tranquil places like Gulangyu Island, explore the lush Xiamen Botanical Garden, visit the Xiamen Horticulture Expo Garden, or relax by Yundang Lake.
