SCO foreign ministers council meeting to be held in Tianjin

The Meeting of the Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States will be held in Tianjin on Tuesday.
According to an announcement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday, the foreign ministers of SCO member states and heads of the SCO's permanent bodies will attend the meeting and exchange views on SCO cooperation and major international and regional issues.
India's External Affairs Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, will also visit China in conjunction with the meeting.
Since its establishment in Shanghai in 2001, the SCO has expanded from a regional organization with six members to a trans-regional organization with 10 full members, two observer countries and 14 dialogue partners.
