Flag of Yang Jingyu Company returns to Jilin province
The flag of Yang Jingyu Company was sent to Jilin province on Sunday after featuring in the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the World Anti-Fascist War on Sept 3.
The Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China held a grand ceremony to pay the highest tribute to the flag, which inherits the heroic and enduring spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army.
At 8:30 am, a flight landed at Changchun Longjia International Airport, returning the flag to its place of origin. With police cars and patrol motorcycles leading the way, a convoy carrying the flag proceeded solemnly. Locals lined the route to welcome the flag.
