One dead in Shanxi chemical plant explosion

One person was confirmed dead and one was injured after a chemical plant explosion in Hejin, Shanxi province, according to a statement from the local government on Monday.
The accident occurred at 2:17 pm on Sunday at a Shanxi Haolun Technology plant, according to the city's emergency management bureau.
Rescue operations have concluded.
Investigation into the cause, follow-up arrangements, and medical treatment for the injured are underway.
