Green electricity trading volume surges
China's green electricity trading volume surged in the first 11 months of 2025, up 41.3 percent year-on-year, said the National Energy Administration. From January to November, China's green electricity trading volume reached 296.7 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh). In November alone, the figure stood at 33.6 billion kWh, up 42.8 percent from a year earlier. In the first 11 months, the country's electricity trading volume surpassed 6 trillion kWh, accounting for 63.7 percent of the overall electricity consumption.
Lottery sales up in first 11 months
China's lottery ticket sales rose 1.7 percent year-on-year to 575.62 billion yuan ($81.55 billion) in the first 11 months of the year, data from the Ministry of Finance showed. Sales of lottery tickets that support the country's welfare system exceeded 191.28 billion yuan during the period, marking an increase of 1.3 percent from a year earlier. Lottery ticket sales that are related to the sports industry rose 1.9 percent year-on-year to 384.34 billion yuan during the period.
