6.6-magnitude quake hits waters off Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING -- A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck the waters off Yilan county, Taiwan, at 11:05 pm Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 24.67 degrees north latitude and 122.06 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 60 km, the center said.
