PLA conducts drills on regional patrol, aerial confrontation, and information support in airspace to the southwest of Taiwan Island

The PLA Eastern Theater Command is employing its fighters, airborne early warning aircraft, electronic warfare aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles to conduct drills on regional patrol, aerial confrontation, and information support in the airspace to the southwest of the Taiwan Island, the command said in a statement on Monday afternoon.
The drills intend to test capabilities of multi-type aircraft coordination and seizing air superiority, it said.
