PLA completes the Justice Mission 2025 exercise
China's People's Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command has announced the conclusion of its military drills around the island of Taiwan.
Senior Captain Li Xi, spokesman for the theater command, stated on Wednesday evening that the PLA had completed the "Justice Mission 2025" drills after thoroughly testing the integrated joint operations capabilities of its forces.
"The troops of the theater command remain on high alert, continuously enhancing combat readiness through rigorous training," Li said.
"They are committed to resolutely thwarting the efforts of 'Taiwan Independence' separatists and external interference, while steadfastly safeguarding state sovereignty and territorial integrity."
The joint drills began on Monday morning, involving the Army, Navy, Air Force and Rocket Force units of the theater command, and included encirclement maneuvers and live-fire exercises.
