State Council to oversee probe into fatal explosion in N China's Shanxi province

BEIJING -- The Office of the State Council Work Safety Committee has mandated supervised oversight of the investigation into a fatal explosion occurred Saturday at a workshop of the Jiapeng biotech company in Shuozhou, North China's Shanxi province, the Ministry of Emergency Management said on Monday.
A nationwide campaign has also been launched to inspect and rectify illegal production sites involving hazardous chemicals and other related activities.
