Honor launches its latest foldable smartphone Magic V6
Chinese tech company Honor unveiled its latest foldable smartphone Magic V6 in China on Tuesday, marking the first product that embodied its proprietary "Augmented Human Intelligence" philosophy.
The phone is equipped with Honor's latest MagicOS10 operating system and aims to deliver a big boost in AI-powered productivity. For instance, it has a comprehensive suite of system-level AI meeting solutions, ultrasmooth three-screen split for multitasking, and other AI features designed for urban users, such as monitoring two stocks simultaneously on one screen and AI translation.
The market research company International Data Corp said in 2025, China's foldable phone shipments reached about 10.01 million units, representing a year-on-year growth of 9.2 percent. This stands in sharp contrast to the 0.6 percent year-on-year decline in China's overall smartphone market, highlighting a trend of growing against the overall market.
