During their time in Shenyang, they visited the Liaoning Provincial Museum, where they viewed artifacts such as the Hongshan culture's jade pig-dragon and learned about the history of the Liaohe River basin as one of the cradles of Chinese civilization.
At the Shenyang Imperial Palace, they explored the architectural styles that reflect the cultural integration of Han, Manchu, and Mongolian groups.
