Chongqing has positioned itself as a national pioneer in supercharging infrastructure, having constructed 6,318 public charging stations and 50,100 charging piles, including 2,165 supercharging stations.

This achievement, recently announced by the Chongqing Economic and Information Commission, highlights the city's commitment to advancing its electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. According to the commission, this push aligns with national policies and addresses local industrial growth, public demand, and urban development.
