On Thursday, To Lam, president of Vietnam and general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, took a high-speed train from Beijing. After nearly 10 hours and covering 2,400 kilometers, he arrived at Nanning East Railway Station in Guangxi. The length of this journey is 1.5 times the north?south distance of Vietnam.
