Changsha metro station provides luggage storage for holiday

The government of Tianxin district in Changsha, Hunan province, organized a volunteer service to offer tourists free luggage storage during the recent May Day holiday. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

This May Day holiday, the service received further upgrades, with official storage points established at two exits of Huangxing Square metro station. Operating daily from 9 am to 8 pm, the service featured weather-protected tents, queuing zones and real-time security monitoring. After retrieving their bags, tourists were given small cultural gifts and local snacks.
