The 3rd Uzbekistan-China Forum on Local Cooperation has kicked off in Xi'an and will run until May 22. Around 1,000 participants, including officials from relevant central ministries and local authorities, university representatives, and chambers of commerce and enterprises from both sides, have gathered to discuss cooperation plans.

The forum's opening ceremony was held in conjunction with the 10th Silk Road International Exposition on May 21. Combining keynote speeches, parallel sub?forums, themed exhibitions, and field visits, the forum serves as a platform for policy dialogue, industrial matchmaking, project implementation, and cultural exchanges, further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.
Five cooperation sub?forums will be held, centering on trade and investment, tourism, and women's development.

Participants will also visit manufacturing enterprises, modern agricultural demonstration parks, research institutes, and historical and cultural venues in Shaanxi province, gaining an in-depth understanding of Shaanxi's exploration and achievements in intelligent manufacturing, green development, and modern agriculture.
