Event focused on silver economy development wraps up in Chongqing
The 2026 Western China Silver Economy Consumption Season wrapped up successfully on Sunday in Southwest China's Chongqing. This five-day event, held at the Guanyinqiao commercial circle in Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, was closely aligned with the national strategy on aging, aiming to enhance the quality of life for the elderly and advance the silver economy in western China.
The event featured a diverse range of activities, including a silver economy consumption fair, industry recognition ceremonies, government-enterprise agreements, outcome presentations, and expert keynote sessions. The initiatives were designed to strengthen the infrastructure supporting the silver economy by gathering a wide array of resources to empower its development.
