The Xiamen office of Walmart Global E-commerce opened on May 20 at Sea World in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone.

Walmart Global E-commerce has set up a professional team in Xiamen to offer one-stop support for cross-border sellers, from onboarding to daily operations. The platform will also work with local partners to serve the seller community through events like open days, networking sessions, and industry visits.

Previously, multiple roadshows were held in Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Quanzhou. In March 2025, the first-leg logistics service for Walmart was launched at Xiamen Port, allowing local goods to be shipped directly to North America. The Xiamen office marks a new starting point for helping Fujian-based products go global.

The employees at the Xiamen office are all local cross-border professionals who grew up in Fujian. They have deep insights into the struggles facing both new and experienced local sellers, the region's industrial characteristics, and the local export ecosystem, and are committed to providing sellers with meticulous, high-quality services.

Walmart Global E-commerce opened its marketplace to international sellers, including those from China, in 2021. It currently operates sites in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Chile.
