Organizers said the exhibition aims to unlock coastal cultural tourism spending in Qinhuangdao and help steer the city's sailing tourism industry toward a more high-end, international, and brand-driven future.
In recent years, Qinhuangdao has steadily strengthened its position as a key hub for sailing and coastal tourism in northern China. The city hosts a sailing and windsurfing training base and has staged major competitions.
