Chongqing cuts 1.12m tons of carbon through green initiatives

To mark World Environment Day on Friday, the State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company has announced major achievements in reducing carbon emissions and promoting green practices. Through its Power Renewable Resources Recycling Center, the company has recycled a total of 26,700 metric tons of decommissioned power grid materials, cutting carbon emissions by approximately 1.12 million tons since the center's inception in 2022.
