COSCO, Jinan Steel ink deal

COSCO Group signed a strategic partnership agreement with Jinan Iron and Steel Group Corp in Beijing on August 10. The signing was witnessed by Li Changshun, general manager of Jinan Steel, and Wei Jiafu, president and CEO of COSCO Group, who both spoke at the ceremony.

Under the agreement, the two companies will extend cooperation in the fields of iron ore shipping, export product transportation, shipbuilding steel supply, and technical research.

The strategic agreement will strengthen the already-solid business relationship between the two sides, and further promote the consistent and stable growth of the steel and shipping giants.
