China's health insurance premium nears 48b yuan in first 10 months

China's health insurance premium hit 47.67 billion yuan ($6.98 billion) in the first 10 months this year, according to China Insurance Regulatory Commission on Monday.

The figure represented an increase of 17 percent over the same period of last year.
