China has become one of the top nine countries with the best up and coming economies in the world, according to a study by US New & World Report, which is notable for its US university rankings.

The media organization surveyed over 21,000 people on how they view 80 countries across various criteria, such as economic influence, citizenship and quality of life.

To find out which countries are improving most quickly, the investigators used a model to predict these countries' future growth in terms of gross domestic product and purchasing power parity per capita.

Let's take a look at the rankings, which are dominated by countries from Asia and the Middle East.
