HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks edged down 63.12 points, or 0.32 percent, to close at 19,842.20 points on Monday.

The market fluctuated between 19,913.40 and 19,793.47 before landing slightly below the previous closing.

Turnover totaled 39.93 billion HK dollars ($5.2 billion), reflecting subdued market activities as funds are tied up for the Agricultural Bank of China's IPO and investors are waiting for positive economic news.
