The Shenzhen Component Index (Chinese: 深圳證券交易所成份股價指數(shù)，簡稱深證成指) is an index of 40 stocks that are traded at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE). It is commonly used indicator to reflect SZSE's market performance.
The Base Day for the Shenzhen Component Index is July 20, 1994. The Base Period is the total market capitalization of all stocks of that day. The Base Value is 1000. The index was launched on May 5, 1995.
