Toyota's FT-HT concept car, a four-door hybrid exclusively designed for the Chinese market, made its global debut at the ongoing Auto Shanghai 2013.

Also known by its Chinese name Yuejia, the car features a powertrain based on Toyota's latest hybrid technology developed in China, which also made a world debut here in Shanghai. The pillar-less scissor doors open to wide angles, and its low ride makes it easy for passengers to get in and out.

Its 2900mm wheelbase and six individual seats in three rows ensure the comfort of each passenger. The model is specially designed for the Chinese market, targeting customers born in the 1980s, who tend to go on family trips with parents and children. The car has a length of 4770mm, a width of 1920mm and a height of 1640mm.
