Old legend to serve university as mentor(China Daily)Updated: 2006-11-08 10:46 An 85-year-old man has been invited to work as a mentor for students of Shanghai International Studies University. Chen has become a local legend after travelling through the Tibet Autonomous Region on foot and donating more than 800,000 yuan (US$98,644) to set up a school there. Chen said he is planning to learn English at the university and dreams of visiting Tibet again some day to teach English to local students. |
