A Chongqing man went to fetch his bride-to-be for their wedding day with more than a hundred cyclists riding along with them.

The teacher, whose net name is Huangniu Zhuli, said he fell in love with his wife at first sight.

When he learned the girl's favorite hobby was cycling and that her net name at an online cycling club was Huangniu, he registered as Huangniu Zhuli, or assistant of Huangniu, and began riding himself.

And it all worked because he managed to win her heart and hand in marriage.

More than 100 of their online friends from the cycling club joined his peloton, which attracted many curious onlookers along the way on Nov 23.
