Lanky boy overeats to shed drug addict image

A young man tried to overeat and gain weight after a drug user in Dalian, Liaoning province mistook him for a fellow addict.

The young man, who is 1.83 m tall and weighs less then 60 kg, visited the police office for some papers when he encountered some drug addicts.

One asked him when he started taking drugs. He was embarrassed after the drug user told him his lanky figure was similar to that of a drug addict's body.

He stayed home for two weeks trying to gain weight by doing nothing but sleeping and eating.

His mother and community officials persuaded him to give up the idea of gaining weight.
