July power consumption up 6%

China's July power consumption grew to 342 billion kWh, up 6 percent year-on-year, or 10.9 percent from June, the energy bureau under the National Development and Reform Commission announced today.

Power consumption during the first seven months of this year totaled 1,994.69 billion kWh，falling 0.89 percent year-on-year, the bureau said.
