Bus accident kills 6 in north China

SHIJIAZHUANG: At least six people were killed and nine others injured after their bus overturned on ice-covered road in Hebei Province on Tuesday, local traffic police said on Wednesday.

The 35-seat shuttle bus, carrying 31 people, crashed at about 9 am on Tuesday when the driver braked at high-speed to let a passenger get off in Longhua County, traffic police said.

The driver lost control and the bus rolled off the road.

The injured were hospitalized.
