The complex of historic buildings that hosts Nanjing government departments opened its doors to the public on Jan 1.
Yang Weize, the city's Party chief, showed visitors around the buildings that were constructed in the 1930s.
The local government announced in December that people can visit the buildings three times a year: Jan 1, May 1 and Oct 1, after submitting an application to the government.
