Ma and Yue arrive at the home of the bride – who is dressed in a suit usually associated with grooms - on their wedding day in Hua county, Henan province, May 1. The couple met two years ago in Yue's hometown in Jinhua city, Zhejiang province. As – according to Chinese tradition - the bride expects to live in her new husband's home after the wedding, she wanted to hold a separate wedding ceremony in her hometown in Henan to offer some sort of comfort to her parents by introducing a new "bride"- her husband dressed as a bride - and Yue agreed.
