BEIJING - Following are the schedules for the third sessions of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Thursday.

NPC:

-- The NPC annual session will open at 9 am in the Great Hall of the People. Premier Li Keqiang will deliver a report on the government work.

The NPC deputies will examine a report on the implementation of the 2014 plan for national economic and social development, and on the 2015 draft plan for national economic and social development.

The deputies will also examine a report on the implementation of the central and local budgets for 2014, and on the draft plan of central and local budgets for 2015.

The meeting will be broadcast live via China National Radio, China Central Television (CCTV) and China Radio International. Major news portals, including www.xinhuanet.com, will also cover the event.

-- Starting 3 pm, NPC deputies will hold panel discussions about the report on the government work.

-- At 3:15 pm, Xu Shaoshi, minister in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission, will give a press conference on the economic situation and macro-economic control at the press center of the two sessions.
