Chengdu Municipal Industrial Economic Conference was held yesterdy, in which industrial economic development blueprint of 2003 came out. Stressing on developing new-style industry and industrial structure rectification, industrial growth will be ensured increase by 14 percent in 2003.
It is said, Chengdu industrial economic speed increases stably in 2002, the added value of industry is estimated to reach 59.8 billion yuan, up 14 percent than previous year. Meanwhile, sale income reached 80 billion yuan, up 14.2 percent. Known from source, Chengdu will finish state owned enterprises' reform rectification basically in 2003 and 98 percent state owned large- and mid- size enterprises will be re-organized.
In addition, "new-style industrialization" is a new industrial topic stated in conference. Conference pointed out Chengdu should shorten difference with coastal cities at terms of industry and choose hi-tech, favorable economic benfit, low-wastage resources and weak environmental pollution new-style industrial road to develop industry.
