WUHAN - Sino-German cooperation in the fields of energy, the environment and climate change will reach a new level in 2011, the German ambassador to China said on Tuesday at a forum on green living.

Given Germany's advanced environmental technology and China's huge market, the two countries find themselves in complementary situations, German Ambassador Michael Schaefer told China Daily after the Sino-German Green City Forum in Wuhan.

"Germany and China are well-suited for achieving win-win deals," Schaefer said.
